Meet Adrienne Rich

Adrienne Rich is considered to be a unique American poet and essayist due to the launch of her career at such a young age.  Rich's dynamic career only flourished with the advancement of years, producing over 20 works and receiving numerous awards.  Rich was a feminist and socially involved individual who advocated for women’s rights through her career as a poet.  Due to the length of Rich’s work, the reader can take a walk with history, hand in hand.  Rich’s responses and general observations about global issues has made her one of the most influential poets and female activists.
